The renowned British medical magazine The Lancet called the invention of ORS the most important medical achievement of the 20th century - the oral rehydration treatment to compensate salt and liquid losses during diarrhoea.
ORS, dissolved in water, enable the deseased body to store liquid in the tissue.
The invention, registered in the 70ies, replaces costly infusions. However, it took another decade to recognize its importance and to use it on a larger scale.
Now millions of lives - especially of children - are saved every year by this significant, but economically viable medication.

The mixture corresponds to the following WHO standard:

The production of ORS is fully computerized and under constant pharmaceutical control according to national regulations and GMP. ORS quality is regularly checked by means of a high-pressure chromatograph. Then the product is packed in water-tight, steam- and oxygen-proof sachets of plastic film. According to the customers' requirements, the sachets are packed in carton boxes on pallets (Euro) of up to 24,000 sachets each.
Shelf life of ORS is three years!

Depending on their age, the patients should drink the following quantities:
babies 1 liter over 24 hours
